What are the fees on SupportXMR?
SupportXMR’s published mining pool fee is 0.6% of your mining rewards. That means you keep 99.4% before any separate payout costs; check its current pool information before you start, because fees can change.
What the 0.6% fee means for you
A mining pool combines your mining work with work from other miners. When the pool earns a reward, it divides that reward among participants under its payment rules. SupportXMR keeps a small share to pay for running the pool.
For example, if your share of rewards before the pool fee were 1 XMR:
- The pool fee would be 0.006 XMR.
- Your share after that fee would be 0.994 XMR.
XMR is the currency symbol for Monero. This example explains the fee only—it is not an estimate of how much you could earn.
The calculation is:
Reward before the fee × 0.006 = pool fee
The fee applies to rewards, not to your computer’s speed or the Monero you already hold in your wallet. You should not need to send an upfront “activation payment” to start earning through a legitimate pool.
Pool fees and payout costs are different
The 0.6% pool fee is not necessarily the only cost you should check. A payout is the transfer of your earned Monero from the pool to your wallet. Sending that transfer involves a network transaction fee, which a pool may cover or pass on under its payout rules.
I cannot verify SupportXMR’s live payout terms here, so do not assume that the published pool fee answers every payout question. Check:
- Whether you pay a separate transaction fee when receiving a payout.
- Whether requesting a smaller payout changes any charges.
- What minimum balance you need before the pool sends your earnings.
A minimum payout is a balance requirement, not a fee. If your earnings are below it, they generally remain in your pool balance until you meet the applicable payout conditions.
What this means for your mining costs
SupportXMR’s fee is a fairly small deduction, but a low pool fee does not guarantee a profit. Your electricity use, computer performance, and the amount of competition on the Monero network usually matter much more.
If you are mining through a browser service, keep its charges separate from SupportXMR’s fee. A browser service may have its own deductions or withdrawal rules. Do not assume that “0.6%” is your total cost simply because SupportXMR is involved somewhere in the setup.
When comparing options, compare what actually reaches your wallet—not just the advertised pool fee. Use a live mining calculator for an estimate, and account for electricity and any service charges.
The bottom line
Use 0.6% as SupportXMR’s published pool fee: you keep 99.4% of your reward share before any separate payout costs. Before committing your mining time, confirm the current fee, payout charges, and minimum payout directly in SupportXMR’s own information.
